Anne Frank

Written in a book
My feelings that took
My breath away
Everyday I find my own way

I hide my feelings
When I'm near him
And every night
The lights go dim

When I leave his room
I assume
That he'll kiss me
But he hugs me

Now I'm dazed
Now I gaze
Into his eyes
I will not die

That day will come
Where we'll move from
This little lamp
To a concentration camp

I will smile at that moment
I'll feel the torment
When I'm far away from Pim
I'll dance and sway
And yes I'll miss him
But i want it all to stay
the same

To make up for hurting her mom she gave her a paper that said she will do anything her mother asks. This made Mrs.Frank very happy. Scene 1- Anne Frank’s father, Mr.Frank is in the building where he and his family went into hiding. It is now November 1945. Miep Gies is a dutch girl about 22 years old. She is now at the time pregnant. She asks Mr.Frank what she should do with some old papers she found. Mr.Frank doesn’t want them and orders her to get rid of them. She hands him Anne’s diary. He starts reading the journal which was written about 3 years ago. Anne’s journal summarizes what was going on at the time. Mrs.Van Daan is a pretty woman in her early forties. Peter Van Daan is a shy, awkward boy of age 16. Peter owns a cat named Mouschi. They are eagerly waiting for the Frank family to arrive. The Van Daans and the Frank family will both be going into hiding. Mr. Kraler and Miep then arrive moments later. They are the people who are hiding them from the green police. Anne’s character makes a bad impression on the Van Daans and they get mad at her. Mrs. Frank then tries to tell Anne how to behave but she doesn’t want to obey and tells her to be more like her sister, Margot. He tells her that he should also love her mother and sister. She tries to but they don’t understand her. She explains that she has a nice side but the mean side keeps coming out. What is Drama?

What do you think about when you hear the word drama? Most people probably think about two people fighting with each other, but more specifically think about two females probably cursing at each other and what not.
What does drama actually mean in literature? Well, I never actually thought that it has two meanings. Drama is theatre. It's made up of a play, scripts and actors. It's made up of elements of plot. A play gives you a perspective on plot, setting, and character. It also gives another perspective of stage sets, period costumes, and a talented author.
Elements of Drama:
Stage Directions are notes that convey information about sound effects, actions, sets, and characters' personalities and ways of speaking.
Dialogue are conversations between characters through which most of plays action takes place.
Set/Stage is where actors perform the play
Most drams contain a plot in which events unfold, rise to a climax, and end with a resolution.
Theme is the central message the playwright conveys to the audience.
Costumes are the clothing the actors wear. They are made up from the time period and characters personalities to suit the play well.
Music/lighting helps set the mood of the scene or helps focus attention to the main actor or character.
